After much thought, budget calculation and even more thoughts, I finally booked myself the new iPhone 3GS from Maxis. I was always captivated when the 2nd generation of iPhone hit our shores but didn’t buy it then as I didn’t feel I have the need for it even though I loved it very much. Since I joined my new company, the iPhone poses to be a great tool for my work hence the recent purchase so to speak.

I went over to Maxis at Gardens Mid Valley last Saturday and asked them a bunch of questions prior to making a booking which requires a RM 200.00 non-refundable deposit. I was told there is a shortage of stock at the moment and they expect to deliver mine within 30 days time. Not getting the iPhone right away wasn’t too big of an issue for me, so I gladly paid the deposit and filled in the form they provided with my preferred plan details.

Anyhow, since that auspicious day, I have been trolling the forums and checking out the capabilities of the iPhone 3GS especially with the huge magnitude of Apps available on iTunes and I am now quite impatient to get my hands on it to be honest. One of the best App I am surely going to download is WordPress for iPhone which will allow me to update this blog of ours more frequently than ever before.
