Exquisite Wonder Goal Saved Arsenal
-
Adebayor struck in the 66mins with a amazing overhead kick to give Arsenal an equalizer and a slim advantage for the 2nd leg against Villareal next week. Villareal did proved to be a tough opponent for the young Gunners with their high attacking tempo and equally slick passing which Arsenal are so well-known for much of the match which ended 1-1. Nonetheless the away goal for today will give the Gunners a good platform to build upon when the spanish team visit Emirates Stadium next week.

Infact both goals were of very high quality but Adebayor’s would probably enter into contention for the goal of the season. Everything seem so harmless when Fábregas chipped in towards goal but Adebayor chested the ball and somehow pulled off a bicycle kick and sent the ball into the net which left the goalkeeper stranded or shall I say watching in amazement.
Sadly an ankle injury to Almunia and perhaps long term injury to Gallas dampen the night. Thankfully Fabianski who replaced Almunia in the 27min looks like a solid goalkeeper.
All I know is next week is a must watch for both matches since Man Utd also drew 2-2 with Porto but this time the Portuguese team have the away goal advantage. Go Go Arsenal!!!

Sorry but Arsenal are going nowhere unless they put a bit of steel into their
team. They are very small and lightweight. If they have to play on any heavy pitches they will be vulnerable too. Buy a couple of giants!
